Went up to Littlehampton for this one. Chris was lovely.
He was a local celebrity due to the following he's recently gained. Walking to our shoots location (a war bunker he used to stay in) lots of people recognised him and wished him luck on his journey. This projects all about strengthening a divided peoples needed cause but also recognising the different strengths we as a unique people have. What I learned from Chris was his unbelievable ability to survive in such conditions. The places he's stayed, the countless steps he's walked and the undying dedication to bettering his situation is an inspiration. Contentment in such a time of struggle is something we can all learn from and I certainly have.
Thanks to Chris and let this be the first of many to a project very special to me.
I only saw Chris for the day and know very little about him outside of the interview we did with him. I’ve had mixed thoughts on him as a person since sharing as some are accusing him of things I obviously disagree with if true. I’m young and I’m trying to do some good in the world. I’ll make sure to do more research in future and learn from this experience as a whole.
KID.
